Also, check out our California neighbors. I've been reading Joan Jacobs for a while, but I had no idea she was from Los Gatos until I saw it on the map. More interestingly, I discovered this local teacher's blog: Teaching in the 408. More about his blog soon.
the This Week In Education BlogMap... it's a GoogleMap that will let everyone in the edusphere add their own colored pin showing (a) where they are geographically and (b) what they do/what they're all about.Of course I've added our humble blog to their map. Check it out. (You will have to navigate over to SF using the normal google map controls. They haven't provided any way to link directly to a specific blog's marker.)

hi sf blog -- glad you've joined the blogmap and are finding it useful. there are now almost 70 blogs on the map, including some that i've never heard of. more get added every day. i've gotten lots of positive responses, even from leftie radical blogs like yours. :-)

And thanks for the 'leftie radical' tag. It is an SF tradition we take seriously! Actually, my sfschools list colleagues usually peg me as the right winger in the crowd. Nice to be put on the other side. (Where I belong.)
