BOE Meeting Webcast
Video coverage of the first Board of Education Meeting on August 8, 2006 is now available for On Demand viewing at SFGTVWhile it is nice to have another way of keeping tabs on the BOE, I'm afraid this is no substitute for the imperilled School Board Notes reporting. The School Board Notes were a nice, succinct, easy way to follow the BOE business. I doubt that I will regularly watch these BOE broadcasts. The meetings just grind on for too long. Still, it is a welcome addition to the KALW radio coverage. Maybe they will allow GreatSchools.net to continue the School Board Notes series more economically. Nicole could write the notes based on the webcast and save her the burden of spending long nights at 555 Franklin.
The meeting will replay on SFGTV2, Fridays at 12pm and Sundays at 1pm on cable channel 78 for Comcast subscribers & cable channel 28 for RCN subscribers.
