SAT scores tank

This news is sure to generate a lot of hot air: SAT Records Biggest Score Dip in 31 Years

The article points to widespread disagreement and confusion about the root causes of the decline and what it means. All the more reason for bloviators to bloviate. But it seems quite clear to me that an unexpected, abnormal decline that coincides with major changes in the test is not a coincidence.

UPDATE: Some more good news for SFUSD students: SFUSD and San Jose test scores rose. Just another (small) indicator of the district's progress.
