2006 API Update in the works

OK, I can tell a lot of you are looking for API data for SF Schools. The API data link on our sidebar is getting a lot of hits. Unfortunately, I have not had the time to update those spreadsheets with the new data released this week. But I'm working on it!

So far I have two new spreadsheets that you might find handy:
  • San Francisco school API results
Contains the complete API data records for each school in San Francisco. This file is a simpler, smaller atlernative to downloading the 10Mb Dbase file from the state.
  • Large California K12 districts API totals
Shows the district level data for the 100 largest K12 districts in California. Useful for comparing SFUSD's results against other major disctict from all over the state.
I will add this year's data to our complete API history spreadsheets. Soon.

KC, this is cool. We need "similar districts" lists, like the similar schools list, too. That was emphasized by the fact that ultra-wealthy Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified is first on that list.
