Eighth graders who have been assigned to Balboa for the 2007-08 school year, or any student who is not satisfied with their high school assignment for next year, as well as seventh grade families wishing to get an early start on the high school search, are invited to meet the staff, parents and current students of Bal.
Come see why more and more families are choosing Balboa, with its focus on small learning communities and personalized attention, over the larger high schools. Learn about Balboa's honors program, Advanced Placement courses, new Mandarin class, and Grab n Go Breakfast. Meet Principal Patricia Gray, who was named the SFUSD Outstanding Educator for 2004 by the California Schoolmasters' Club. Dinner will be served, and families are welcome to attend.
Balboa is located at 1000 Cayuga Avenue, in a quiet family neighborhood, just past the intersection of Ocean and San Jose Avenues. MUNI transportation is available via the following bus lines: 14, 26, 29, 43, 44, and 54, as well as the J, K, and M streetcars, and BART.
For any questions, or to schedule a tour for yourself or your school group, please call the school at 469-4090.
