SF Ed Fund: Teacher Fellowships available
Teachers Leadership Institute Fellowships for 2008 - 2009
The San Francisco Education Fund invites tenured SFUSD teachers to apply for a Fellowship with the Teachers Leadership Institute. The deadline for applications is June 23, 2008.
Teachers Leadership Institute Research Fellows:
• Participate in a small professional learning community focused on equity and teacher leadership.
• Receive a $1,000 honorarium and have the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Units from SFSU.
• Conduct action research on their classroom practice or their school site and publish findings and recommendations.
• Learn about the policymaking process in education and how to promote the teacher voice.
• Engage in conversations with education policymakers.
• Become members of an influential and supportive national network of teacher leaders.
Teams of 2 or more from a school site are strongly encouraged to apply!
